Storytelling is sowing and waking up in the heart of the child an enchanted world. And it's so good! Our inner child also loves! Approach the children, speak  even about complicated issues  as the LIE, and so many others but with lightness and good humor!

1-Menina crescia escutando que não adiantava mentir porque mãe sempre sabia.

Little girl grew up listening better doesn't  lie because mom always knew.

2-Mãe dizia que lia na testa da menina , e que só mãe podia ler testa.

Mother said she read the girl's forehead, and that only mom could read forehead.

3-Menina tentava tapar a testa com a mão na hora de mentir. Mãe achava graça, muita graça E continuava lendo assim mesmo.

Girl trying to cover his forehead with his hand in the hour of lying. Mother thought it was funny, very funny and kept reading anyway.

4-Menina precisa entender como essa coisa misteriosa acontecia. No espelho do banheiro, mentia muito em silêncio. E, na testa, nada acontecia!

Girls needs to understand how this mysterious thing happened. In the bathroom mirror, lying very quietly. And, on the forehead, nothing happened!

5-Aí menina descobriu que mãe também mentia, - e que não era testa era  o olho, com um brilho diferente, que entregava a mentira.

Then the girl  found that mother also lied - and that was not the test but was the eye with a different brightness, which gave the lie.

6-Menina então tentava fechar o olho com força, para esconder a mentira. Mas nem isso resolvia,  pois mãe sempre adivinhava. Menina tentou, tentou e aprendeu... era essa a solução.

Girl tried to shut the eye so hard to hide the lie. But nor it solved because mom always guessed. Girl tried, tried and learned ... this was the solution.

7- Mas de noite, menina ficava apertada por dentro. Assim, meio sufocada, não podia nem piscar. Com o olho muito aberto, não conseguia  dormir.

But at night, girl was tight inside. Thus, half smothered, could not even blink. With the eye wide open, unable to sleep.

8- Faltava ar pra menina. Igual quando a gente fica sem respirar rindo de uma cosquinha. Só que não tinha graça.

Lacked air-to girl. Same when we run out of breath, laughing of a tickle. Only it wasn't funny.

9- Menina, sem querer, tinha descoberto a Consciência, uma coisa que toma conta da gente, mesmo quando mãe não está lendo a testa ou adivinhando olho.

Girl unwittingly had discovered Consciousness, something that takes care of us, even when mom is not reading or guessing the eye.

10- Menina tinha aprendido que ter que fingir doía. E que desse jeito ia ficar muito sem graça ser gente grande.

Girl had learned that to pretend  hurts. And that that way it would be very complicated to be big people...

11- Mas, não adiantava. Menina via que agora já estava quase da altura do móvel da sala da vovó. E ficava muito triste, o aperto apertando mais.

But it was no use. Girl saw that now was almost the height of the mobile of granny's room . And became very sad,  the grip tightening more.

12- E de tanto que o aperto apertava, Menina achou que  fingir só podia doer tanto porque era dor sozinha.

And  so much more the grip tightened, girl guess that thought could only hurt  because it was a alone pain.

13- Menina teve uma ideia, só não sabia se era brilhante. Mas sabia – isso sim – que precisava testar  pra conseguir descobrir.

Girl had an idea, just did not know if  was brilliant. But she knew - so yeah - she needed  try for  knowing.

14- A ideia da Menina foi dizer para mãe que era difícil fingir. Menina achava difícil aprender montes de coisas sem dividir com ninguém.

The idea of the girl was telling mother it was hard to pretend. It's dificult  learn lots of things without sharing with anyone, she thought.

15- Menina falou que era muito complicado e que não era nada bom ter que crescer sozinha.

Girl said it was too complicated and it was not good to have to grow up alone.

16- Mãe abraçou muito apertado a Menina e num colo tão esperado  Menina estava sendo mãe da mãe.

Mother hugged too tight a Girl and in a awaited  lap,  girl was being mother's mother.

17- Menina sentiu que Mãe estava chorando. E que Mãe não tinha aprendido tudo.

Girl  felt that Mother was crying. And that Mother had not learned everything.

18- Mãe não falava nada mas uma e outra sabiam naquele abraço apertado, que em mãe também doía ser gente grande sozinha.

Mother said nothing but, inside that  hug ,one and other knew that,  inside mother also  hurts being big people alone.

19- Nessa hora Menina entendeu tudinho. Descobriu que só carinho é que espanta a solidão. E que dor, se dividida, fica dor menos doída. E que aí da até vontade de crescer pra descobrir o resto das  coisas.

Then the Girl understood . Found that, only affection is what amazes loneliness. And that divided pain is less pained. And so give us till  desire to grow up for discovering the rest of the things.
